Adams - An Adams County man faces reckless homicide charges for shooting his girlfriend this morning.

Twenty eight-year-old Coleman Dybul told police he was asleep when his girlfriend startled him.

He shot her with a shotgun he kept by the bed.

Twenty seven-year-old Toni Voss died at the scene.

Police arrested Dybul, and a child that was in the house is with relatives.
