Rhinelander - Trucks, snowmobiles and Ice fishing fanatics blanketed Boom Lake for the 37th annual Lions Fisheree this weekend.

To go along with the ice fishing competition, the chamber brought back its broom ball tournament, and the Y-M-C-A held a snowshoe race.

Chuck Franz is the longest tenured Lion, with a 52-year membership.
He's noticed a few changes since the first fisheree.

Mike Romportl has also seen some changes during his time with the Lions. In the past couple years; the Lions have focused on bringing in some younger competition.

"Kids come in and we have an hourly drawing for the kids when they bring in a fish. At the end of the day, anyone who participated for the kids we draw out for a bite."

500-dollars went to whoever reeled in the biggest Northern.

"We started out in a tent, we've been progressing. We started out in a tent. We've had some cold weather and we've has some nice weather."
