OSHKOSH - A former Northwoods star is just 1 game away from playing for the Division Three National Championship.

Three Lakes native Nick Jolin #52 is a starting linebacker for UW-Oshkosh. Jolin and the Titans face St. Thomas (MN) in the D-3 semifinals on Saturday. The game will be played in St. Paul.

Last week, Jolin collected 6 tackles, including 2.5 tackles for a loss in an overtime victory over Linfield College (OR). "He's from the Northwoods," said head coach Pat Cerroni. "His mom has got the cow bell going. He was an all-conference honorable mention."
