Gov. Office Accepting Oneida County Sheriff Applicants Submitted: 11/26/2012
Rhinelander - The Governor's office hopes to find the next Oneida County Sheriff soon. It started accepting applicants today.

Sheriff Jeff Hoffmann announced his retirement last Monday.

For the time being, Chief Deputy John Sweeney will fill in.

New applicants can send in their cover letter, resume and appliction online or via mail.

The new sheriff would serve a complete term that ends January 4th, 2015.

They must live in Oneida County by the time the appointment goes into effect.
