Hurley - Iron County thought they had elected a new District Attorney.

But after a hand recount, incumbent Marty Lipske will hold onto the seat.

Election-night results two weeks ago showed challenger Anthony Stella had defeated Lipske by just three votes.

But a recount this week flipped the outcome, giving Lipske a four-vote win. Lipske will return as D.A. in Hurley for yet another term.

It had been the only race in the Northwoods not fully decided.
