Time Growing Short to Get in on LCD Class Action Settlement Submitted: 11/14/2012
Madison - If you own a television or a computer monitor, you might have some money coming.

Wisconsin attorney general J.B. Van Hollen says those who bought a TV, monitor or laptop with an LCD flat screen have about three weeks left to claim part of a settlement in a class action lawsuit.

The billion dollar settlement was reached with 10 electronics manufacturers who were accused of conspiring to raise prices for the LCD screens. The settlement pertains to merchandise purchased between 1999 and 2006.

Van Hollen says eligible consumers have until December 6th to file a claim.

They'll have to answer a few questions about the merchandise they bought.

The amount of each payment will depend upon the number of products purchased and the number of claims filed.

No receipts or other documents are required.
