MILWAUKEE - Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun is a finalist to defend his National League M-V-P award. Braun lead the NL with 41 home runs. He was also tops in total bases and runs while tying for the lead in extra-base hits.

Braun won an appeal of a 50-game suspension before the season. The suspension was for a positive test for a banned substance.

The winner will be announced next Thursday.
