Kronenwetter - It's a team effort to clean up 52,000 pounds of cranberries spilled on I-39 in Kronenwetter Tuesday afternoon.
A trailer hauling the cranberries split in half, spilling the load all over southbound I-39 just south of the Cedar Creek interchange.
Kronenwetter police chief Dan Joling said the truck was hauling extra weight under a permit, which is common during harvest season.
A local towing company is helping scoop up the cranberries with shovels and a skidsteer, and they're being hauled away in county dump trucks.
Roads could still be slick in the morning, so drivers should be careful.
