Minocqua Man Pleads Not Guilty to Child Abuse Submitted: 10/05/2012
Rhinelander - The case against the Minocqua man accused of shoving a popsicle down a child's throat will move forward.

Daniel Stevens is also accused of picking the kids up off he ground by the neck to spank them. He faces six felonies.

Today he waived his right to have the state present evidence against him and pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Judge Patrick O'Melia found there was probable cause to send the case to trial. His next court appearance is December 4th.
