Menomonie coach expected to coach Lakeland boys hoops Submitted: 07/19/2012
MINOCQUA - For the past two months, Lakeland Union high school has been searching for a new boys basketball coach.

A report out of Eau Claire says the search is over and Levi Massey, the head coach at Menomonie, will be recommended to take over the T-Birds.
WQOW-TV from Eau Claire reports on their web site he was offered the job.

Massey has been the head coach for the past three seasons at Menomonie. He has compiled a record of (15-55) according to wissports.net. He also teaches social studies at Menomonie High School.
Lakeland is expected to formally make a recommendation on Monday to the school board - which needs to be approved.

Lakeland is searching for a replacement for Ted Voigt who retired after 38 seasons on the T-Birds bench.
