Baked Spinach Artichoke Dip

1 box of frozen chopped spinach drained well
1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained, and chopped fairly fine
1 bunch green onions both white and green parts chopped
1 clove garlic minced fine
1 (8 oz) block cream cheese softened
1/4 cup mayonaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 pinch red pepper flakes
black pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated romano or parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

Combine all the ingredients reserving 1/4 shredded mozzarella cheese for sprinkling on top of the dip. Spread the dip into an oven safe dish, and top with the remaining 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until the top is brown and bubbly.

Serve with fresh veggies, sturdy crackers, or whatever your heart desires.
