- Some volleyball team's mark down a victory when they see Antigo on the schedule.
That would seem like a mistake this year.
The girls believe they'd have an even better record if they fix just a part of their game.
"Really good team it's just we don't pull through at the end," said Zoe Fleischman, a senior on the team.
"I think that we just need to stay strong throughout the entire game and play strong even at the end," said Caroline Roller, a senior Red Robbin.
"Communicate well, keep focusing on the game and play strong at the end," said Jordan Nagel, a senior for Antigo.
Head Coach Michelle Knetter has made some adjustments to the team this year. She believes it has made the team more difficult to beat.
"We switched up the defense this year that's actually been very beneficial this year," Knetter said. "I feel like we are able to cover more tips. We are a little faster on our feet."
The team is 3-2 in the Great Northern Conference. The coach says that is a bit deceiving. She addressed the issues they've had with finishing sets.
"Once you get it in your head that you are comfortable, or that you may not be in it with the other team that's when we start to fall apart," Knetter said. "Maybe we really can't do it even though, the game before we beat them."
Antigo fell to #2 Tomahawk 3-0 on Tuesday.
