RHINELANDER - Oneida County Sheriff Grady Hartman wants the job for another term.
Hartman submitted his nomination papers to the county clerk's office on Monday.
He's been Oneida County Sheriff for the last five years, and has worked in law enforcement for 24 years.
Hartman will face some competition for the position.
Last October, Sergeant Greg Gardner announced his candidacy for sheriff .
Gardner is a 22 year veteran of the Oneida County Sheriff's Office.
Oneida County Medical Examiner Larry Mathein has also announced he's running for sheriff.
All three candidates are running as republicans.
A primary election will be held in August, with the general election in November
