- Emergency teams met in groups throughout Wisconsin Tuesday for the North Central Wisconsin Healthcare Emergency Readiness Coalition.
The groups called in on a conference call to work through fake scenarios in each county.
Each county had to work through an emergency plan for a mass shooting.
Oneida County worked through a mock scenario at Hodag County Fest.
Lincoln County had to do the same thing but for Fall Ride.
Lincoln County Lieutenant Tim Fischer said this was the first time he's ever participated in something like this.
"We need to discuss different situations to formulate a plan so we have some sort of action should something like this happen. We [will now] have an idea how we are going to respond," said Fischer.
He says with the amount of shootings happening throughout the nation, it's best to be prepared for the worst.
