Oneida man dies after driving the wrong way, crashing on highwaySubmitted: 08/28/2016
LAWRENCE - A 36-year-old Oneida man has died after police say he drove his car the wrong way on Interstate 41 and crashed into two other vehicles near the town of Lawrence.

The Hobart Lawrence Police Department says officials were called to the crash at about 2:35 a.m. Sunday.

WBAY-TV reports that the Oneida man sideswiped one vehicle then hit another head-on. The drivers of those vehicles suffered injuries that weren't life threatening.

Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

The southbound lanes of I-41 were closed until about 8 a.m. Sunday.
