WAUSAU - It's not often you see a Wausau team on the visiting sidelines at Thom Field, but when East plays West for the Wausau log, that's exactly what happens.

Lots of defense in the first half.

Just 7-0 West with five minutes until the half.

East marching for the tie.

It's a read option in the red zone, and the quarterback coughs it up.

Warriors recover with just minutes left.

They march right down the field, thanks to plays like this: Chandler Fochs drops to pass.

He scrambles to his left, then cuts all the way back to the right side of the field.

It's a 13 yard pickup, but Fochs ran at least double that to pick up the first down.

Warriors punch it in on the toss to Mitch Michalske here.

West wins the log 20-7.

MADISON - The Wisconsin Football team will need to go a few weeks without running back Cory Clement.

It's after the team found out that Clement had a sports hernia.

Clement has missed the Badgers' last two games after playing sparingly against Alabama in the season opener

Clement told reporters that the area didn't feel like it did this summer following the Alabama Game.

He'll now get surgery to repair the hernia.

"Unfortunately, one day in practice, I took a fall, and at this stage I think I made it worse by trying to play on it throughout Alabama," says Clement. "And we did the ultra-sounds and everything, and the MRI showed there were two hernias."

Clement will miss around four to six weeks with the injury.

The badgers play Hawaii in Madison this weekend.

Packers prepare for SeattleSubmitted: 09/17/2015

GREEN BAY - Packers fans won't have to wait much longer for a rematch with the Seattle Seahawks.

The two teams will play each other this week on Sunday night.

Fans don't need a reminder of how it went the last time these teams met but while the Packers won their 2015 season opener, the Seahawks lost theirs.

Their highly touted defense gave up 34 points, but Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy says he isn't fooled by their bad outing.

"It's a very talented defense," says McCarthy. "They still play with the same energy and activity. None of that has changed. One game doesn't make a season, let alone [it's] not going to change my opinion. So this is a big challenge for our offense."

Fans won't forget last year's NFC Championship game soon, but it seems like the players have.

"I think I've been a part of 30 some-odd losses as a quarterback so every one of those sticks with you," says Quarterback Aaron Rodgers. "It's frustrating when you put so much into it and you come up short, but it's a new season. We get back here in April, you start thinking about the 2015 team."

The Packers and the Seahawks will play Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
