TOWNSHIP OF EMMET - Early Tuesday morning Marathon County Sheriff's Communications received a 911 call from a residence about an armed robbery at 5022 Fairview Road, a rural residence in the Township of Emmet.
Deputies from the Marathon County Sheriff's Office and the Wausau Police Department responded and stayed on scene well into the afternoon with investigators.
So far Deputies have learned the victim was held at gunpoint for an undetermined amount of time. The suspects are described as one male Caucasian, approximately 5'11" with a thin build and two male Southeast Asians, approximately 5'4". There is also possibly one female Asian involved. The suspects were wearing coverings over their face, and they were armed with a handgun and a bat during this incident.
The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction, in a small white pickup truck with no topper.
Deputies said no one was physically injured during the robbery. However, the suspects are to be considered armed and dangerous, do not confront them, but call your local law enforcement authorities.
Investigators are continuing with the investigation and will be conducting further evaluations of the area and crime scene.
