RHINELANDER - A Minocqua man pleaded not guilty Thursday to a murder from 1982.
Barbara Mendez was murdered April 28, 1982 at the Park City Credit Union building in Minocqua, where she worked.
The case went unsolved for 36 years, until his two daughters told police Robin Mendez had manipulated them so he had an alibi.
In Oneida County Court Thursday, Mendez entered a not guilty plea.
Mendez is currently in jail on a $250,000 cash bond. He's due back in court in June.
