Local metal fabricator will pay fines for breaking air pollution laws Submitted: 06/17/2014
- A Lincoln County metal fabricator will pay $60,000 for breaking Wisconsin air pollution laws. Merrill Fab violated its emission limits from October 2009 through July 2010. The company did report itself that it broke its limit. The company then brought emissions down and has been compliant since 2010.

The DNR gives out air pollution control permits. They say over exposure to the pollutants the company released could hurt people's health and the environment. The company will pay for fines and court costs for the pollution.
