- In the Park Falls area, the Tuscobia Winter Ultra is in it's third day. Around 150 racers taking part. Compeditors can either bike, ski, or run on the Tuscobia Trail.
The Trail is the area's former railroad line. It was used for transporting lumber until the late 1960s. Passengers also used the line.
Racers are competing in either 35, 75, or 150 mile courses. The event wraps up Sunday. Live music and refreshments all day at the Chequamegon Canoe Club in Park Falls.
We'll have a lot more on this young but growing event Wednesday night in our "Northwoods Spotlight."
