Packer fans asked to help shovel out Lambeau Field Submitted: 12/20/2013
GREEN BAY - They won't be playing a game, but a little snow shoveling can get you into Lambeau Field. The Green Bay Packers ask their fans to help remove snow. The shoveling ritual generally takes place a few times per season at Lambeau. The outdoor stadium can get heavy snowfall in a short time. Heating coils under the field help keep the playing surface snow-free, but snow can quickly pile up in the stands.

They were looking for as many as 650 people to shovel Friday morning, in preparation for Sunday's home game against the Steelers. Helpers needed to be at least 15 years old and will receive 10-dollars an hour. The Packers provide shovels. (Copyright 2013 Associated Press - All Rights Reserved)
