Decision delayed on Kenosha casino Submitted: 10/25/2013
MADISON - Governor Scott Walker puts off an announcement on whether he will approve a new casino in Kenosha.

Walker spokesman Tom Evenson said the governor will not announce his decision Friday as originally planned.

Walker met with leaders from the Menominee tribe and Hard Rock International Wednesday.

They discussed their proposal for an $800 million entertainment complex and casino in Kenosha.

Walker said he expected to make his decision by the end of the week.

Evenson says Walker needs more time to review information submitted by the tribe.

Walker has said all of the state's tribes need to approve the casino before he would allow it.

Two tribes, the Ho-Chunk and Forest County Potawatomi, have opposed it.
