- Saturday local athletes showcased their skills in the first annual WILD Hodag Mini Triathlon. It was the perfect place for those who had never raced in one before.
Over 90 people came out to Holiday Acres this morning. The challenge included a 300 yard swim, 10k off-road bike course and a 5k run, all winding through the beautiful Northwoods.
They were able to raise close to five thousand dollars and proceeds will benefit the Wise Intentional Leadership Development. Their goal is to further Youth leadership skills internationally and locally.
For their first year, it was a big success.
