- The Forest County Potowatomi community pulls in a lot of money with a Milwaukee casino, but not quite as much as before.
Gambling revenue has dipped slightly.
Gamblers lost nearly 363-million dollars in the fiscal year ending June 30th.
That's 5-million less than the previous year.
Fitch Ratings analyst Michael Paladino says the revenue trend is similar to the rest of the country.
He says casino earnings have been flat elsewhere.
Although revenue has dipped at the Milwaukee casino, it's been enough to support payments of about 70-thousnd dollars annually to the tribe's 1,500 members.
The Potawatomi are building a hotel next to the casino that's scheduled to open next year.
