Fashion show benefits ArtStart Submitted: 08/19/2013
RHINELANDER - People hit the runway in Rhinelander today. But it wasn't only to get a look at fun new fashions - the event benefitted Art Start. People packed the Northwoods Banquet Center for 7th annual Deja Vu Fashion Show in Rhinelander. And some of Newswatch 12's very own even strutted their stuff.

"We've got a runway show. We've got handmade items from people around the world, so a fair trade booth. We also have items for sale from the Northwoods artists. And all of the items on the catwalk are available for sale, and their being consigned to us by local Northwoods retailers," says ArtStart board member Judi Linder. The luncheon and fashion show focused on accessories. All the money went to ArtStart. The center will soon open a new exhibition. The current exhibition on the Art of Hunting and Fishing ends August 31st. Hayley Tenpas and Adam Fox were some of the models in the show.
