- A woman accused of embezzling close to half a million dollars will go to federal prison. Susan Tatro was sentenced today in federal court.
She used to be the Human Resources Director at the Waukesha Bearings plant in Antigo. Tatro was fired in 2011 when the company discovered financial records didn't add up.
She finally admitted she took money on a number of occasions. She also acknowledged she had a serious gambling problem.
Tatro faced more than 30 counts of federal wire fraud, but reached a deal. She pleaded guilty to two counts.
Tatro will spend 3 years in prison and three years on supervised release. She also has to pay back the nearly half million dollars she stole.
