Brush Run races thrill in Crandon Submitted: 06/29/2013
CRANDON - A little bit of mud and a whole lot of racing. The Brush Run kicked off in Crandon today with a full slate of off-road action.

Thousands of fans packed the hill at The Big House to watch 12 classes of racing. The track is known for it's exciting land rush start and then there's turn one where the trucks and buggies can hit speeds around 100 miles per hour.

Talk to any driver, and they'll tell you, this is their favorite stop on the circuit.

Our local drivers put on quite a performance with 3 first place finishes.

Keegan Kincaid of Crandon won the Pro Light Truck race. Rhinelander's Mark Steinhardt took the checkered flag in the 1600 Buggy. And new driver Justin Barian of Minocqua crossed the finish first in the 1600 Light Buggy class.
