The shortstop remains third in the balloting in the latest fan poll for the NL all-star team.
Colorado's Troy Tulowitzki is leading, but is out with a broken rib. San Francisco's Brandon Crawford is in second, but Segura is not far behind.
Segura is having better season than Crawford. He leads the NL with 99 hits and 8 triples. He is batting .336 with 23 stolen bases, 11 home runs and 31 RBI.
Ryan Braun slipped to 5th in outfield balloting and Carlos
Gomez is 11th.
The All-Star game is next month in New York.
