The bill already made it through the senate, and will now head to Governor Scott Walker for his consideration.
Drivers in Wisconsin are required to carry liability insurance.
They also need to have proof of that insurance if they're pulled over.
If they don't have proof, they can be fined.
The bipartisan bill would allow drivers to show proof of coverage by using their smartphones or other electronic device.
