- The Natural Resources board is ready to make some changes to Wisconsin's endangered species list. The DNR proposed removing seven animals and eight plants from the list. These include the barn owl, Blanding's turtle and Butler's garter snake. The agency also wants to add eight new animals to the list. They put together the proposal after completing a 20 month review of the list species' status. The Natural Resources Board is set to vote on the plan at a meeting May 22nd in Madison.
