- Good things take time. The Lincoln County fairgrounds is going to take some time to rebuild. But first, the County board needs to approve it. The board met last night to push a request for a fairgrounds proposal. The request detailed some of the work planned. "To replace the grand stand. To have a like structure replacing it. Basically it will be a 2500 seat structure with a covering. It's pretty much exactly what was there before," says Randy Scholz, Lincoln County Administrative Coordinator.
A storm blew down the grandstand last summer. At the next meeting, the maintenance director will bring the proposal in front of the board. The board can then pass it, deny it, or make changes to it.
