LAC DU FLAMBEAU
- The case against a teenager accused of nearly stabbing his mother's boyfriend to death got one step closer to trial today.
17-year-old Christian Soulier pleaded not guilty to attempted intentional homicide and two other felony charges.
Police arrested the Lac du Flambeau teen in January.
They claim he stabbed Robert Johnson four times.
He then ran and hid.
A psychiatrist testified Soulier suffers from several mental disorders.
But a Forest County judge decided to try him in adult court last month.
He's still being held on $10,000 cash bond.
Soulier will be back in court for a final pre-trial conference in July.
