Heat's winning streak ends at 27 in Chicago Submitted: 03/27/2013
CHICAGO - The Miami Heat's 27-game winning streak was snapped Wednesday night by the Chicago Bulls, 101-97, when a furious comeback by LeBron James and his teammates fell short.

The Heat finished six games short of the record held by the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers.

LeBron James expected a physical game in Chicago. He thought things went too far. James calmly spoke out about the way two particular sequences were officiated.

He thought Kirk Hinrich went too far in taking him down with two hands in the first quarter, and that Taj Gibson also was excessive on a play in the fourth that the Heat argued was worthy of a flagrant-foul designation.

No flagrant was called, so James then collided into Carlos Boozer on the next possession, earning a flagrant-1 call of his own.

James says the level of physicality he faces in games ``is getting to me a little bit.''
