MADISON - Homes sales in Wisconsin rose for the 20th consecutive month in February. Still, the northern part of the state saw a slight dip in sales. A report by the Wisconsin Realtors Association says sales increased nearly 12 percent compared to last February. Median home prices rose to 122-thousand dollars in February. That's a 6 percent increase over a year ago.

December, January and February sales increased 14.5 percent compared to the same period in 2012. The Northern region saw its home sales fall in February, but just 3 percent. For the winter as a whole sales are running well ahead of last year's pace. For December through February, existing home sales in the Northern region increased 17.5 percent compared to a year ago.
