EAGLE RIVER - That's thanks to the Advanced Welding Institute (AWI).
The director of Klondike Days reached out to the school asking for a donation.
The institute donated steel and labor.
A-W-I director Brian Scheid feels like it will go to a good cause.
"We felt we could donate our time and material to it just because it's a nonprofit event," said Scheid.
"And it's a good event in the winter day to get people out to."
Klondike Days will begin March second.
The institute is Wisconsin's first and only privately owned welding school.
85% of the classes are hands on training during the program.
