- Wisconsin's chief economic development agency is searching for businesses in the state interested in going on a trade mission to South Africa.
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation wants to assist small to medium sized companies from the Great Lakes region export products and services to South Africa.
The trade mission will happen March 6th through the 15th. It'll include meetings in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
Business sectors targeted include automotive parts, agricultural, medical, mining and construction equipment, and power generation and supply.
Wisconsin exported $226 million to South Africa in 2011. Businesses interested in attending are encouraged to contact the WEDC.
