GREEN BAY - A 24 year old Green Bay man tries again to clear his name in the death his four month old son.

Jeremiah Felton is serving a life sentence for first-degree murder in the death of his son, J.J. Felton.

He's accused of slamming the boy's head into a door after the child cried during a bath in June 2008.

Felton's attorney filed a motion Friday asking the courts to take another look at a previous ruling which upheld his conviction.

Felton had argued that a remark made by prosecutor's at his trial and an ineffective defense attorney justifies a new trial.

Felton earlier lost a bid for a new trial based on reports that one of his jurors had received in inappropriate text message before his conviction.
