St. Germain Woman Could Face Homicide Charge in Possible Heroin Overdose Submitted: 12/12/2012
RHINELANDER - A St. Germain woman could be held responsible for the possible drug overdose of an Oneida County man.

Police arrested 26-year-old Jennifer Heiting this week. She's accused of possessing and delivering heroin.

Her arrest was part of an investigation into the death of David Stahl of Crescent.

Police think Stahl may have overdosed on heroin.

Pending toxicology tests in the next few weeks, Heiting could be charged with first degree reckless homicide for her role in Stahl's death.

The Northcentral Drug Enforcement Group Task Force will continue to investigate. That includes the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, the Rhinelander Police Department, the Vilas County Sheriff's Office, the Oneida County Medical Examiner's Office and the Oneida County District Attorney's Office.
