- Would you go on a trip to the moon? How much would you pay?
A new company now has people considering the answers to these questions. Former NASA employees came to together forming a new company called Golden Spike. The company plans to make trips to the moon available to anybody, not just astronauts. We asked people in the Northwoods if they would go.
"It probably would be nice, I wouldn't mind that," said Dolly.
"I think it'd be a wonderful experience and it'd be fun and something different to do. And not many people get to do that so," says Raya.
"That depends on how much they're going to charge me," said David.
And it will cost you a pretty penny. The trip for two will set you back 1-point-5 billion dollars. So we asked if you had the money would you spend it on the moon?
"Sure, if I had it, I'd love to do that," says David.
"I don't think so, cause just, I don't think spending 1.5 billion on myself would be worth it and I think there's a lot better things you can do with the money," said Shane.
"If I had all the money in the world, I would pay that," says Dolly
If you are interested in getting to the moon and have the money to do it, Golden Spike Company can get you up there sometime before 20-20.
