Hundreds of Shoppers Search for Early Morning Bargains Submitted: 11/23/2012
RHINELANDER - There was a sea of cars in the Kohlís parking lot at midnight as hundreds of shoppers rush to get an early morning bargain Friday.

While stores like Walmart opened at 8 p.m. last night, Kohlís customers had to wait until midnight Friday.

But many shoppers said the bargains were well worth the wait.

"We left the cabin at 8 a.m. and have been going all night," said Anna Mathy.

Jennifer Polzin said, "I think I saved a fair amount. Iím in college so I canít spend a lot."

Over 350 people were in line at Kohlís Friday morning.

It took employees only 9 minutes to get the crowds into the store.

And once the store was packed, the shopping madness began.

Customer Service Supervisor, Karrie Caselton, said, "Some of the toys that go for like 60% off. Weíve got small electronics that go for really crazy prices. 60-70% off. A lot of traffic a lot of really good products."

Some customers even came in their pajamas.

And while many typically think itís the women who do all the shoppin--think again.

There were plenty of men packed into the store as well.

Taylor Cutting, said, "Weíre just trying to help her find some nice lingerie....keeping it real."

All Friday's early morning specials ended at 1 a.m.
