RUSSELL - The first death of the hunting season has been reported in Lincoln County.

51-year-old man Steven Jackson of Antigo was found unresponsive in the town of Russell outside of Gleason.

It happened around 6:15 Saturday evening.

Jackson was the Forest Administrator for Langlade County.

He was hunting with other people at the time.

Police say foul play is not suspected.
