- It's been a long road for Rhinelander senior Brianna Jorgensen. She is recovering from a torn ACL. But a bright spot for her Wednesday. She signed to play college hoops. She has decided to play college basketball for Upper Iowa University.
Jorgenson averaged 12.5 points and just over 4 rebounds per game last year for the Hodags.
Upper Iowa is a division two program. Brianna also considered D-1 club Cleveland State, UW-Stevens Point and several other D-3 teams.
But getting her tuition payed for - plus studying to get into sports medicine were among the defining factors.
