Sentencing Delayed in Bath Salts Case Submitted: 11/13/2012
RHINELANDER - The Rhinelander man accused of dealing bath salts, putting dynamite in his wife's car, and child neglect, will stay out of jail a little longer.

Patrick Dalka was charged in February. A witness said they saw him high on bath salts, walking in the freezing cold with his infant son who was only wearing pajamas.

Dalka's defense attorney said they're still working out legal issues Dalka has in Florida, but they have made a deal with the State in this case.

"There has been a resolution, it's essentially a stipulated agreement. And when we have the answer from Florida we'll be all ready to go and can resolve the case," says Mary Hogan.

Dalka's wife told police he said he put dynamite in her car; that's where the investigation started. She also said he often hallucinated in the middle of the night, and told her he was the middle man in a drug ring.

Dalka will plea and be sentenced December 11th.
