WAUSAU - Crews from Wisconsin Public Service in Wausau and Stevens Point left this morning to help with restoration efforts out east.

Members from the Wausau office planned to leave at 6 a.m., the Stevens Point crew left at 6:45.

The team will meet up with crews from Sheboygan-- and drive out to Connecticut.

WPS is sending 20 line technicians and 3 support staff.
