AMHERST JUNCTION - A Stevens Point man was arrested Saturday for drunkenly driving his car into a house.

John Koback drove his truck into a home located on Main Street in Amherst Junction.

The crash happened just after 4:30 Saturday morning.

Koback then fled the scene.

The two people living in the house were hurt.

They were both taken to St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.

Police caught up with Koback shortly after he drove away.
