- They can't vote yet, but a group of students at Rhinelander High School are making sure YOU fill out that ballot.
Jacob Stingl's A.P. U.S. Government class is working on a website that shows local voters where they can vote on November 6th.
In case you're not already convinced, they've also covered why it's important to vote.
Lindsey Lieck and 18 other students have been working on the site for over a month.
She said it doesn't make up for not being able to vote, but hopes it will help more people get to the polls.
"I want someone to come to the website and find information on something they were unclear about. I want them to be able to be knowledgeable and confident in their voting abilities," she said. "I think our efforts have definitely paid off in that this website will be able to help a lot of people."
For her teacher, it's not just about students helping the community - it's also about helping them learn and get involved.
"I hope my students take away from this that they can be politically active even though they're not old enough to cast a vote," Stingl said. "There's lots of ways to participate and I hope that by participating in this manner, it excites them about the process and encourages them to be a lifelong participant."
