Now the man accused will appear in court.
18-year-old Marcos Garza was arrested Friday for threatening to injure a student.
Garza sent a female student a threatening text message which she immediately showed to school administrators.
Wausau West High School was on lockdown for an hour Friday afternoon.
Garza was arrested on the 600 block of Jefferson Street.
He was carrying a 40 caliber hand gun.
Four other area schools were on lock down for precautionary reasons.
Garza could face misdemeanor charges of carrying a concealed weapon, and disorderly conduct.
