Granton Man Calls Police on Drug Accusation, Arrested for Burglary Submitted: 10/02/2012
NEILLSVILLE, WIS. - A 49-year-old Granton man is in jail accused of burglary and theft.

Terry Vandeberg called police Thursday saying he had found meth-making materials in a home he was taking scrap metal from.

The problem is: Vandeberg never had permission to be in that home in the first place.

The property owner explained he had never met Vandeberg and never gave him permission to be on his property.

Also, the apparent meth materials were legitimate prescription drugs. And, police breathalyzed Vandeberg. He blew a .258.

Vandeberg now faces a felony charge of burglary and a theft misdemeanor.

He's due in court November 30th.
