CRANDON - An elderly woman died in a car crash last night in Forest County.

Around 10:30 last night, police say a semi-truck and car collided on Highway 8 near Whiteye Lake Road in Crandon.

An 89-year-old woman from Three Lakes was killed in the crash, police said.

Police will not say whether the elderly woman was driving at the time or if anyone else was in the car with her.


No one else was hurt.

The crash is still under investigation.
