ANTIGO - The State Patrol confirmed Monday the driver involved in May's deadly Antigo car crash was drunk at the time.
Toxicology tests released today show 18-year-old Antigo Senior Jeffrey Smith's blood alcohol level was .218. That's almost three times the legal limit.
Smith's car crashed into a van at the Highway 64 and Hill Road intersection May 28th.
He and fellow senior Jacob Arrowood were killed in the crash. Arrowood had a BAC of .068.
Four other people were injured in the crash.
The State Patrol is looking into where the alcohol came from.
